Hexaxim is a combination vaccine that protects against six serious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, poliomyelitis (polio), and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib). This vaccine is commonly used in pediatric immunization programs.
How It Works
Hexaxim contains inactivated components of the bacteria and viruses that cause these diseases, which stimulate the immune system to develop immunity without causing the diseases themselves.
